School Days

It seems like since we've started school, there just are not enough hours in the day! That, and cooking meals, and baking this delicious bread almost every day, and reading. I've discovered the Amish stories by Beverly Lewis and I don't want to put them down. I've finished the first two and started the third one today. Megan wanted my full attention today, so after 20 minutes of listening to her "chatter" I thought of the brilliant idea to grab my book and hide out in the bathroom - NO GO, she followed me and sat on the floor and continued to chatter. I gave up, marked my page, and sat on our comfy couch and gave her my full attention. She was happy and I'm still trying to figure out what all she was talking about! hehe

OH MY! I have a chatty cathy too, only it is a boy and he is not CATHY!

I often do the same...run and hide only for it to not work!

I want to hear more about the series. I have wanted to read them and have not convinced myself to buy another book. (I will be very honest with you, it is one of my obsessions...books and office suplies!)

Anyway, just thought I would stop by and say thanks for entering to win the candles and good luck!

Are those not the best books you've ever read?? Oh my gosh I love them! I'm thinking there is a new book coming out soon. If you're Wal-mart has a little rack of Christian style books, check it out..you'll find more on the same line as Beveryly Lewis's.

I LOVE these books! Heather, I just check them out from the library. I can so relate to the office supply obsession too - and I tell myself it's ok to want everything because we homeschool! LOL Beth, we were at Wal-Mart last night and I was looking at them, but ours only has 2 of them.
