Jaidyn

This is Jaidyn(2), she is our neighbor's youngest daughter and I just love her to pieces. She does the cutest thing - she'll come to the kitchen door and FLIRT with Jim, then when I peek around the corner she gets mad and runs outside! If she sees me first, she'll come on in and point up to the cabinet and say "Trater" (cracker). She knows exactly where we keep "Jaidyn's Goldfish Crackers", I'll pour some in a cup, she says thanks, then we sit on the step while she eats them! Yesterday I gave her a Thin Mint cookie, she wouldn't eat it, but wanted me to keep wiping her hands because it was melting on her fingers.

It finally quit raining last night so Ryan and I grabbed the fire pit and Jim helped us get a nice fire going. It was so relaxing! Here are a couple pics:

Beautiful Weather & Illness

Today started out cloudy and rainy, then the sun broke through and the temps rose up in the 70's! Megan woke up feeling sick to her stomach and had a headache :o( She lounged on the couch for a while, and started feeling better this afternoon.

Sunshine - FINALLY

I've been reading on everyone's blogs that it has been sunny and in the 70's. Nice weather must have been everywhere but here. It has been driving me insane! We finally have sunny weather, and I think for the next few days it is supposed to be in the 60's YEAH!

Happy 15th Birthday Jodi

Our oldest daughter turned 15 today! As she was opening her new Tinkerbell comforter that she just had to have, her new cell phone (which was tucked inside) started ringing - you should've seen her face! March is SO full of birthdays for us (makes me kinda happy when it turns to April)! My Mom, Dad, Aunt Rita, sil Sherry, and 3 of the 4 neighbor kids also celebrate March birthdays. It's like buying for Christmas all over again!

Time

I don't know where all my time is going - but all of a sudden there just aren't enough hours in a day! Even the kids are staying busy all day long. I haven't even had time to plan a menu for this week! ugh Hopefully things will slow down a little bit. Have a blessed week.

HAPPY 10TH BIRTHDAY MEGAN!

Today is Miss Megan's special day! We finished up our kangaroo lapbook while we are waiting to go out to dinner with Grandma & Grandpa! We'll post pics soon. Here is a picture of the birthday girl next to her 'Tell the whole world' sign (aka the front door). She is getting soo big. It seems like just yesterday she was sitting in the driveway coloring.

I'm still here

I see that I haven't posted since Monday- I can't believe it!! I've still been reading everyone else's blogs, just been running out of time to post on mine. We've been working on our Kangaroo lapbooks, and that seems to taking up a lot of time (which is a good thing). We've been reading books, and borrowed a video to watch. It amazes me how much info Ryan is remembering! Did you know when a (gray) kangaroo is born it is the size of a lima bean, and weighs as much as a paperclip?! They grow up to be 6 ft tall and weigh up to 200#. Amazing huh
